Introduction
Standing Stone is a series of imagery juxtaposing the stillness and longevity of stones with the fleeting tumult of humans and crows. The man depicted in this work searches for connection. His many attempts to befriend the corvids only serve to agitate them. He ponders his next approach, while the crows devise a plan of their own.
